Comed leaves the schedules

The 5 Basics System

  • all year round
  • everything about (egg) feed
  • at 5g per 250 grams
  •  for all birds (young and old),
  •  during breeding, molting, exhibition, and rest periods.

1. Lisocur+

It is a complete supplement of nearly 40 additional nutrients, needed according to the latest scientific guidelines. It also contains plant-based substances that play an important role in maintaining natural resistance, which helps prevent disease, feather pecking, cannibalism, etc.

Lisocur+ is already a fairly complete care product for breeding, molting, exhibitions, and the winter resting period.

2. Miobol

To be given over the egg feed, it supports rapid growth during breeding, development of muscles and bones, and earlier weaning. Miobol provides the robustness needed to get through molting.

Miobol is an excellent preparation for breeding and exhibitions.

The bird stands proud, dominant, and in a good mood—"it practically speaks to you!" It speaks to the judge!

3. Roni

Roni is useful during (the preparation for) breeding and exhibitions when there is a need for protein- and calcium-rich feed.

These two essential nutrients unfortunately neutralize the protective acid in the gut. In other words, by feeding what’s needed, we simultaneously open the door to infections—especially during stressful periods like breeding, weaning, molting, and exhibitions when many birds are gathered together.

Roni is a very meaningful daily supplement that ensures the gut continues producing acid through four probiotic strains, counteracting the effects of high-protein feed and grit.

4. Stopmite

Stopmite is a very special product that, through feed, gives the blood a bad taste to repel parasites.

This parasite problem threatens birds year-round, making Stopmite part of our new understanding of the 5 Basics. Droppings become firmer.

The entire ecosystem in which the bird lives is disrupted by parasitic and stress-causing pests!

Blood-sucking parasites cause massive damage not just to our birds but to the entire poultry world!

5. Curol

Curol helps maintain natural resistance that protects the bird from problems, and provides extra energy through present lipids. Curol oil also helps seeds or insects stick to the egg feed.

Birds need oil.

What else is possible?

Is there an optional product besides the 5 basics?

Absolutely, all Comed products have value.

Here are some examples:

  • Fertibol during breeding for extra strong eggs and a sturdy skeleton
  • Murium during molting, as birds go through a physiologically vulnerable period!

Murium contains meaningful ingredients, including those needed for building the new plumage.

  • Exibi for optimal exhibition preparation. It builds extra reserves for the period birds are no longer under your care.
  • Transcutine for radiant, fresh pink feet.

They look vibrant and alert when the judge passes by.

  • Winmix for cannibalism, especially when we “overpopulate” the aviary
  • Megabactin for loose droppings and severe weight loss (“going light”).

If desired, Lisocur+ and Roni can be strengthened together in the drinking water during acute issues (fluffed-up appearance and/or sadness) when birds often stop eating but still drink well.

It is recommended to continuously administer the dosage indicated on the packaging: 5 grams or one teaspoon per 250 grams of feed.

Do not deviate from this principle by skipping days (*)!!!

- It must truly be given daily!

Better to give a half dose daily than a full dose every other day.

- During rest and transition periods, supplements can optionally be given at half dosage.

- It must be given daily; optionally follow a lower dose, as the enthusiast "reads" their birds (e.g. give 1/3 daily instead of twice a week).

(*) This may seem odd but can still be useful.

- If birds respond very positively to the 5 basics and become extremely sharp or dominant due to exceptional condition—you may give nothing one day per week. It won't hurt and can help balance things while letting them rediscover natural tastes.

If you follow this system, it must be the same day each week.
